This great granite pyramid that is Txindoki watches over and protects us throughout the stage. It is worth making a short stop-off in the historic area of Igartza, because it is a place where the professions and types of building typical of Goierri from the Middle Ages to nowadays can be observed. Through meadows we arrive at Olaberria. If Txindoki is the watchtower, Olaberria is the balcony of Goierri. From there we go to Idiazabal, the town that gives the route and the designation of origin of our most famous cheese their name. In the town, you can visit the Shepherd Monument and the Idiazabal Cheese Interpretation Centre. We finish the stage in Segura, full of history, where an old film could easily be shot.
