3. Mirandaola - Arantzazu

Mirandaola, a restored ironworks operational for some years, is the symbol of the ancient iron and steel industry. If the opportunity arises, on most Sundays during the year, it is highly recommendable to see the forgers working. Leaving Mirandaola, the headquarters of another trademark profession of the area awaits in the Eco-museum of Shepherding, in the Telleriarte district. Past the museum, crossing Brinkola and circling the Barrendiola reservoir, we encounter some authentic huts in Jandoain. When we ascend to the Biozkorna pass we reach the highest point of this stage. We go down to Malla, observing the beauty of a setting of burial mounds and grazing horses. Passing through the Duru hut, we arrive at Aránzazu.
